What a great place to get away from it all. My wife and I stayed here to get away. We had great food and met great new friends. We are not hikers but the hospitality was as if we were family. Michael and Neville were great hosts and are very blessed to have such an opportunity. We shall return in the future, who kows maybe we will hike some of the trail.

Hey Neville and Michael, Really enjoyed my stay at Wood's Hole both before and after this years Gathering. Thanks for all help in getting me up on the trail and for loaning me your dog for the one day trip. Great memories. Will leave Springer NOBO March 2011 and can't wait to find my way back to Woods Hole. You guys are real good folks! Tawa

My favorite hostel by far on my SoBo 09 thru hike. Thanks Neville and Michael for the wonderful atmosphere and great meal/sleep! I had a lot of fun chopping wood, playing fetch with one of the dogs (Amenhotep?). I especially enjoyed my first YoGa experience with Neville on the porch when it was pouring down rain on a chilly November afternoon. One of my greatest thrills is seeing pictures or reading about places I have been. I eagerly look at pictures and read journals from my fellow AT hikers. I was equally excited today when I opened the September â?? October issue of AT Journeys and found a six page article on Woods Hole Hostel where I stayed on May 20, 2010. Thanks Neville and Michael for being just who you are.
