Best night of my whole hike, lovely place, lovely people, superb food and the massage was out of this world. I had no further trouble from my shoulder. Thanks for the slackpack from Pearisburg, that was a real bonus. Hope to get back over the pond and see you all again sometime.

In '93 I delightfully happened upon your enchanted hostel. I fondly recall Miss Tillie serving me my first ever cup of coffee (perculator, no less). I don't mean to hurt her feelings, but I have not had another cup since. :) Maybe I'll give it another try since I'm doing the AT again this year - and will certainly be stopping in for another visit! Thanks for being there.

I just discovered your place and can't wait to visit this summer. I'm in Roanoke so I'll definitely be hiking through.

I stayed with you and your grandmother, Tillie, during my AT summer in 2007. Your and your grandmother's hospitality, the morning breakfast and the beauty of the place is one of my strongest and fondest memories of the trail. I hope to make it back some day!
